For those of you arriving early, we have a special treat.  Mike Martinez and Stacy Fowler will lead a group over to the Alamo Eat Street Bar.  Once there, you can enjoy San Antonio’s first Urban Gourmet Food Truck Park. Located less than 1/2 a mile from the convention center, Alamo Eat Street Bar provides gourmet eats and San Antonio draft favorites in a casual outdoor setting.  Separate checks are available.  Sign-up is not required.  Interested parties should meet at the Hospitality Booth at 7:15 PM.

Despite its name, the Liberty Bar serves serious food that shows its Texas and Mexican roots at almost every turn. Favorite dishes include the picadillo-stuffed and walnut-sauced chile relleno en nogada, codorniz (quail) in green mole, as well as the more down-home grilled Muenster cheese sandwich with chile morita. The Liberty Bar is located in a former convent, now painted coral, in the King William neighborhood just south of the Convention Center.  The food bill will be split evenly between all parties; alcoholic beverages will be paid for individually.  Interested parties should sign up in advance and plan to meet at the Hospitality Booth at 6:45 PM.  It’s a 20 minute walk, or we can arrange a pedicab at a small additional fee for those who don’t care to walk.
